We aspire to bring you passionate, deeply felt performances of string music, familiar and new. To do this, we rely on the generosity and support of our donors.

Our retiring collections alone are not enough to support our ambition, so every gift, large or small, really helps.

If you are interested in an ensemble which supports young players and composers at the start of their professional career and provides enriching experiences for audiences in Manchester and Cheshire, here is how you can help us.

A gift of £30 would help us to hire works still in copyright.

A gift of £50 would help us to commission a new work from a young composer or sponsor a music student for a session.

A gift of £100 would help a music student to perform alongside fully professional players for the whole season, gaining professional experience of the highest standard in a supportive and nurturing environment.

Donations of £50 or above will be acknowledged in the current season’s concert programmes.
